Luke Beitzel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke is a senior at Mississippi State University, finishing up a bachelor’s degree in professional meteorology with an emphasis in broadcast meteorology. Luke’s journey into meteorology began at a very young age. Since elementary school, Luke has always wanted to become a broadcast meteorologist. This officially started with an internship at WJZY Queen City News in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2023, followed by an internship at WCBI in Columbus, Mississippi, in 2024. Since May 2025, Luke has served as the part-time weekend weather reporter at WVUA 23 News Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Outside of meteorology, Luke enjoys getting outdoors, hiking, running and rock climbing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caleb Edelblute<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caleb is a senior professional meteorology major with an emphasis in broadcast meteorology from Starkville, MS. He has always been fascinated with weather since he was a kid, and he knew he wanted to understand how it works and be able to forecast it. Caleb is expected to graduate in May 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madeline Feneck<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madeline is a senior at Mississippi State University studying professional meteorology. Originally from Massachusetts, she now lives in Wilsonville, Alabama, where she has spent the majority of her life. Madeline developed her passion for weather after the April 27th tornado outbreak, which sparked her interest in severe storms. Her favorite type of weather to study is tornadoes. Madeline currently volunteers with the National Weather Service in Birmingham. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her dog, Riley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracie is a senior broadcast meteorology major from the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Her interest in weather and public safety was sparked by the 2011 Joplin tornado, which profoundly affected several of her relatives, and was further strengthened by the 2020 tornado in her hometown that inspired her to pursue a career in meteorology. She is expected to graduate in May 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the digital meteorologist for Louisiana First News in Baton Rouge, LA, where she shares her passion for weather with the community. Outside of her studies and work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Aspen, indulging in a good book, and savoring a fresh cup of coffee. She looks forward to growing as a meteorologist and helping viewers stay informed about the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadie Morris is a senior from Greenwood, IN, majoring in Professional and Broadcast Meteorology and minoring in Communication, Broadcast & Digital Journalism, and Liberal Arts. As a member of the Shackhouls Honors College, she is pursuing the prestigious \u201cCursus
Honorum\u201d distinction. Sadie serves as Vice President of the East Mississippi Chapter of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. She has gained hands-on experience through her on-air work at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS, and internships with
FOX Weather in New York City, as well as WXIN-Fox59 and WTTV-CBS4 in Indianapolis. Outside of class, you can find her giving out free soda as MSU\u2019s Coca-Cola Campus

Izzy is an undergraduate studying meteorology with a concentration in professional and broadcast meteorology. She is from Cullman, Alabama. Growing up somewhere with such frequent active weather sparked her interest in the subject at a young age. When she is not observing or forecasting the weather, Izzy enjoys hiking, white water rafting, learning, trying new recipes, and reading. Izzy is expected to graduate in August of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Morris, Alabama, her passion for weather was sparked at a young age during a weather safety event led by James Spann, Chief Meteorologist for ABC 33\/40. That early interest developed into a purposeful drive to want to serve her community through impactful weather communication and education. Madison will graduate in Spring 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
