Luke&#8217;s journey into meteorology began at a very young age. Since elementary school, Luke has always wanted to become a broadcast meteorologist. This officially started with an internship at WJZY Queen City News in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2023, followed by an internship at WCBI in Columbus, Mississippi, in 2024. Since May 2025, Luke has served as the part-time weekend weather reporter at WVUA 23 News Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He has always been fascinated with weather since he was a kid, and he knew he wanted to understand how it works and be able to forecast it. Originally from Massachusetts, she now lives in Wilsonville, Alabama, where she has spent the majority of her life. Madeline developed her passion for weather after the April 27th tornado outbreak, which sparked her interest in severe storms. Her favorite type of weather to study is tornadoes. Madeline currently volunteers with the National Weather Service in Birmingham. Her interest in weather and public safety was sparked by the 2011 Joplin tornado, which profoundly affected several of her relatives, and was further strengthened by the 2020 tornado in her hometown that inspired her to pursue a career in meteorology. She is the digital meteorologist for Louisiana First News in Baton Rouge, LA, where she shares her passion for weather with the community. Outside of her studies and work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Aspen, indulging in a good book, and savoring a fresh cup of coffee. As a member of the Shackhouls Honors College, she is pursuing the prestigious \u201cCursus<br>Honorum\u201d distinction. Sadie serves as Vice President of the East Mississippi Chapter of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. She has gained hands-on experience through her on-air work at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS, and internships with<br>FOX Weather in New York City, as well as WXIN-Fox59 and WTTV-CBS4 in Indianapolis. When she is not observing or forecasting the weather, Izzy enjoys hiking, white water rafting, learning, trying new recipes, and reading. That early interest developed into a purposeful drive to want to serve her community through impactful weather communication and education. Her passion for meteorology was shaped by experiencing<br>the impacts of tropical weather firsthand, even experiencing the eye of Category 4 hurricane<br>Ida.
